WHR-G300N Bridged to old Wlan?
« on: February 09, 2009, 12:49:26 AM »

How is WHR-G300N to be bridged to an old wlan with two WHR-G54S's and Asus WL-500 gP V2? There's the WDS-option in the older WHRs, but I haven't managed to marry the G300N with the others yet. At least I can't find it with my browser via wlan. My E51 finds all 4 aps in the wlan, so I believe also the new G300N is in the wlan at some extent.

One of the G54Ss is working as a router and the other two boxes are as aps. I would like to add the G300N as an ap. I hope I don't have to reset all the four boxes and build the wlan from scratch. There are three laptops in the wlan in daily use....  :smileywink:

The 802.11n Draft routers do not support WDS.

Thanks, that explains a lot. I'm going to build another wlan anyway, so I'll use the n-series' boxes for that.
