Unable to Force Firmware 1.54 on LS-WXL 2.0TB, unable to confirm partition exists

Hopefully someone can answer this issue for me, please!

 

I have been trying to get my LS-WXL 2.0TB Linkstation Duo working for a while now, i purchased it as a certified refurbished product, everythign was fine until i tried to convert it from Raid-0 to Raid-1 and run in a mirrored format.

 

As soon as i changed the format through the web navigator it bricked and i have 6 red flashing lights.

 

Since then i have been trying to force firmware 1.54 onto it, but having left it for a while cause it was frustrating me i am back to try again.

 

I have followed the 2 of 5 instructions to force firmware, but i just get this message now;

 

"Could not confirm whether the partition exists. Cannot update the firmware."

 

Anyone have any ideas how i can override this at all?

Nevermind, i have manged to solve my own issue.

 

For anyone who finds this post relevant;

 

By changing the lsupdater.ini file, and setting the "NoFormatting = 1 to 0" it has formatted the drives and updated the firmware itself.

Back to square one! Cant find it with Navigator or the TFTP Boot file either........6 red flashing lights saga continues!

 

Any ideas would be extremely helpful...
