Unable to find Linkstation using LSUpdate.exe

I had some power issues this week. The Linkstation is a LS-W2.0TGL/R1 with firmware version 3.10. I am not able to access any shares, or the web interface. I was going to try re-doing the firmware but LSUpdate does not find the linkstation. It is looking for the wrong model when it searches. I made a change in the LSUpdater.ini for the right model number, but it still fails. Is there something else I am missing? The NASNavigator finds it just fine.

You probably downloaded the wrong firmware. Use a different browser to search for the model and download the 3.10 firmware and follow FAQ 2 of 5 where it talks about forcing the firmware update.

Thanks. I had to change the INI file to force the update. Thanks for your help.
