Unable to format and 2 separate drive allocations

Hi,

I have a TS-RIXL 8.0 that I am trying to configure on a Windows 2008 Server.  I ran the iSCSI connection tool but thwne I go to disk management I encounter 2 issues:

 

1) Instead of showing up as one chunk of 5545.55 GB I see two separate chunks, one of 2048.00 GB and the other 3497.56 GB.

2) The second issue is that when I right click the second chunk (3497.55 GB) everything is grayed out except properties.

 

This was not the case during the last setup where it showed up as one chunk of 5545.55 GB.  Any thoughts?

Problem solved.

 

I realized what I was doing wrong leaving the default to MBR instead of GPT when disk management initially found the disk.
