Re: WZR-HP-G300NH DD-WRT 17798 Testing

i have a similar problem but on my situation it is like this

the 1st time i connected to the router by ethernet cable RJ-45 (fine, no problems)

then i unpluged the cable and connected to the router Wirelesly (fine + giving me a better and range)

then i turned off the wireless on my Sony Vaio laptop and restart the pc

I want to use wired connection so

laptop windows loaded..

connected the RJ-45 cable...

no internet

in the network and sharing center shows that I have 2 active networks (the name of my wireless network and unindentified network)

it seems like a conflict in the router somewhere

any ideas how to fix that ? try yourself maybe you will get the same problem

tested on 2 laptops Dell Latitude and Sony vaio

check the pictures of my router configuration

Re: WZR-HP-G300NH DD-WRT 17798 Testing

I have problems with Android phones. The problems seems to appear in both 17798 and 14998.

After some time of phone inactivity wifi hangs. I.e. phone sleeps, and connection to all other devices hang. Two laptops and ipad2 can not ping each other, or ping router, or access internet anymore. If I press power on Galaxy Nexus wifi instantly starts to work on all of mentioned devices. The problem seems not affect Nexus One. It also doesn't apeear if wifi is off on Galaxy Nexus.

Please let me know if you need additional details.

Re: WZR-HP-G300NH DD-WRT 17798 Testing

I have looked and looked and I can't find any newer DD-WRT releases for the WZR-HP-G300NH on the Buffalo site or the DD-WRT site.  Can you give me a link?

Where is there a newer build available?  Are you talking about a DD-WRT build, or a Buffalo build?

Re: WZR-HP-G300NH DD-WRT 17798 Testing

OK, so where are they?  The page for the WZR-HP-G300NH has 17798.  I am actually looking for something newer than 17798 that will work with my my WZR-HP-G450H.

Any suggestions?  Thanks.

EKO's builds are updated regularly, and have worked well for me. This is rev. 18024

That's not an eko build, eko only builds for broadcom based units. That's Brainslayer's build, and 18024 is already old now.
