I am having difficulty setting this up as a WDS in my home network where D-Link DIR-655 is used as its router. I wonder if anyone is using this as a WDS with what model router. Buffalo tech support asked if the DIR-655 supports WDS and D-Linik confirmed that it does.

I had a problem setting up WDS on my unit. I could never get it to accept the 10-digit hexadecimal WEP key of the access point. When I used the manual setup, the 10-digit hex key would be changed to 5 characters.  The setup wizard on the CD refused to accept anything less than 13 characters.

I had to change the WEP key of the access point to exactly 13 alpha characters to get it to work.  I happened to use the wizard at the time of my success, but I suspect the manual method would have worked just as well.
