I just got a Buffalo N150 router, loggged into it, set up a wireless network, and password-protected it with WPA2 encryption. Everything seems to be working fine and I do have to input my password on my devices before I can connect to the network, but the security light on the front of the router is off. If I press the AOSS button, the security light turns amber for a second and then turns back off. I've never had a router that had a security light on the front, so I'm not sure if I need to be concerned about this. Should the security light be on? Thanks.

If the router is actively asking for security then I really would not worry whether that light is on or off.
