Hey Guys,
after a lot of Problems with my Router with:
- Wireless drops
- Speed of Intel 6000 Seria drops to 130Mbits
- crash of the wireless
- etc.
I found finally a Version which I would share with you. Its DD-WRT v24-sp2 (08/10/11) std - build 17461, which is based on ath9k Driver for wireless. I have it now since some days installed and didn't have to reboot the router even 1 time ! Wireless is stable and get a good performance like the User friendly Firmware.
I can confirm:
- 3G Modem is working, even the reconnect with DHCP works
- Wireless works for Intel 6000 Series without a drop to 130Mbits -> full N-Speed
- no crashes from wireless anymore
- Wireless Mixed N/G working perfect
- Guest Network working
- Mac filter working
So the standard I tested and no issues, even my HP printer is working now on wireless without issue (the first time)
The removed this build but if you want to dry you can download it here: http://runwire.com/ddwrt-17461/

Its working beter and more stable then the Buffalo brandes Aplpha version. And it has finally the ath9k driver :-) Hope Buffalo will build on this build !!!
PS. Transfer with filezilla (ftp) over WLAN get 17.5 MB/sec :-)
Have fun and good luck !

There are 2 different:
and wzr-hp-g300nh2
Install first a different Version f.e. the Buffalo DD-WRT and later run the Upgrade from the DD-WRT Page. Administratiron -> Firware Upgrade !

Do you have the option to block a specific MAC address in ddwrt? Because in the standard firmware there is no way to do it.
And I am not sure if my 3G modem is compatible with the ddwrt, could you please advise? And can I revert back to the standard firmware in case it did not work? And how to revert back?

You can revert to the User friendly wirmware like its written in WIKI
http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Buffalo_WZR-H
Not sure if you can block Mac but you can allow them. So only the listed Mac adresse can connect to the Wireless. For sure you can also Block specific Mac, but you have to google it. Its just a linux :-)
You 3G Modem I dont know which you have. But normaly they are working fine Huawei (I have 3 of them). The software for it is in the build included.

OMG, I don't know what happened. After I flashed the router with the official Buffalo's ddwrt firmware
http://www.buffalotech.com/support/getfile/wzrhpg3
I can not log in into the router page, I am getting an exclamation mark on the connection icon and the Wireless led on the router is keeping blinking without getting connection. I tried with cable the same thing. What went wrong? Please help.
I tried also resetting the router from the bottom but with no hope.

Mhh good question. Do you see any wireless networks ? It should be called I guess the Mac of you Router. Anyway you have to take the key from the Router (should be somewhere on the side). When you connect with cable you get an IP ? Clear the cache from your browser or take another f.e. IE ...Not sure which IP it was but it should be 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.11.1....

I am connected to the router wirelessly and entered the key successfully. But I can not access http://192.168.11.1 or even http://192.168.1.1 the wireless LED on the router is blinking continuously.
