Xbox 360 won't recognize my 500GB MiniStation™ Stealth - HD-PCTU2

I currently only have the desire to view videos on my 500GB MiniStation™ Stealth - HD-PCTU2 on my Xbox 360 but every time I go to the video player on the Xbox 360 it says there is nothing under portable device when in reality my 500GB MiniStation™ Stealth - HD-PCTU2 is plugged in and running. Does anyone know what I should do to solve this problem?

Thanks,

Dom B

You need to reformat the HDD to FAT32 for the Xbox to see the device. It's probably formatted to NTFS.

I have not had that much personal experience with Xbox's. I'm surprised that they do not support NTFS considering it's made by Microsoft.

Converting it to FAT32 did the trick. I used EASEUS Partition Master 9.1.1 Home Edition which was extremely easy to use and quick.

Thanks for your help!
