Where Is the Backup/Restore Configuration?

I recently purchased a LinkStation Live LS-XL.

I was instructed by your tech support to reset the device after I updated the firmware in order to fix a problem. The reset did not fix the problem though. I lost all of my configuration settings and I had to painstakingly re-enter them all by hand.

Is there a feature to backup/restore the configuration settings so one does not have to go through all of that hassle just to reset the device?

If there is no such feature, please consider adding one .

There is software available for some of the units called NS-SHIFT. However I don't know if it's compatible with the LS-XL.
