I wanted to delete everything inside a share. Deleting all the files in Windows was taking a very long time, so I canceled that and deleted the share from within the web interface (new Interface of 1TB Linkstation). I then recreated the share and confirmed it is empty, no files. The disk usage should have decreased by the amount of space used in the share (about .5 TB). It did not. How do you recover diskspace after deleting a share with files in the share?
