then the problem still lies with your BT homehub. i can 100% gaurantee you its not a Linkstation issue as the device doesnt know if it is being conencted to from within your LAN or from an external source.
The fact that it is working 100% from inside your network shows the Linkstation has been setup and is working correctly.
Go to http://canyouseeme.org and check and see for yourself if port 9000 is open.

Are my port forwarding setting definetly right?

dont think so,
There should be an option to specify a single port, not just a range however the range looks wrong, all you need to do is forward port 9000 (external) to 9000 (internal)
does the port show as open on canyouseeme.org?

Sorted! Need to update my external port number on my Linkstation.
Updated my home hub port range to 9000 and trigger port to 0, and happy days.
Thanks for your help.
Setting that worked for me, hopefully useful to struggling homehub 2 people....

I have tried with the above settings for two weeks for the bt homehub 2 without sucess.
I had a flsh or inspiration and the settings for Trigger is not "0" infact it should read "leave blank"
Works a treat with WebAccess A

The above pointers also worked for me but not until I restarted the BT Home Hub.
