Put it in 2 x HDD. (has not been formatted) After turning on (ON) can not see the NASNavigator software. What is wrong?
Link to the flash after power station, a red LED goes out and starts to blink.

If you swapped out the drives without doing it 1 at a time there is no firmware on the disks for the unit to load from. That is the source of the problem. Firmware will need to be placed on the disks for the unit to be recognized and become configurable.

Now you need to upgrade firmware?
How to firmware update?
Thanks

You would have needed to replace 1 disk, restructure the array, than the 2nd disk, restructure the array again, than delete the whole array and restructure one final time. Please note that Buffalo does not support, or assist with upgrading drives in the units.

If you cannot get it to work yourself you may want to call up support and have them walk you through it.

How do I know the LS-WSXL NAS, EM-mode unloaded. Step by step.

I'm not sure what you mean.

TFTP ran. NAS found Navigator2 after him. EM mode OK.
I launched a firmware update, but in the end he writes this:
"Could not confirm a response from WSXL-EM648-LS.
Please check the Network Address of Both LS-and PC-WSXL 648th
Please disable the firewall function if it is working on PC.
Updating aborted "
I turned off the firewall. PC ip 192.168.11.1.
2 HDD has no partition table, there is no format. Windows 7 users.
What could be more of a problem?

Try disabling any antivirus as well. you could also try booting into safe mode on your pc to try and get past this issue. Also did you do the force update option thats showed in FAQ 2 of 5? When you do that debug options also check delete user config and delete partition table. This should fix the issue and get both of those drives formated and have the firmware installed on the unit.
