Hi, when the power is in auto mode, and the NAS is turned-off automaticly. Then can I logon to NAS from internet(I mean external)?

Will it turn on automaticly?

Not yet currently but I have suggested that recently so that we can make an app to do that. That would be very nice lol.

And another question is: when the power is in 'ON' position, and there is no HDD access for a long time, will it turn off the power of HDD?(not the entire NAS) Or the HDD will keep running always?

Is there any progress on this subject? I am trying to wake up my LS-CHL872 external.

And if not, could I write a phyton script to send a wake-on-lan message to wake up the nas manualy?

The unit does not support wake on lan. You would need to either use a VPN or figure out how the Nas Navigator is waking up the unit.
