HD-LB1.0TU2

I have two of these units.  Have had them for about 5 months.  One of them periodically stops working.  It is connected to a W2008R2 server for imaging backups.  It will work for awhile and then it just stops.  When I check it the drive is still spinning But the light is off and the server doesn't see it.  It formatted NTFS.  If I unplug the power it stops spinning but if I just plug it back in it spins but still is not live.  If I leave the power off for 10 minutes or so it starts working again and works for a few days.  I don't know if it is just a bad unit or if it has a heat issue.  It doesn't feel very warm. Both of the drives I have are in the same cabinet on different servers and the other drive is working fine.

Re: HD-LB1.0TU2

It sounds like the power adapter might be bad. I would try switching it with the other one and see if the problem sticks with the power adapter.
