Hi all.
I need to know if im doing anything wrong trying to get my HD H160LAN out of EM mode.
Ive tried re-flashing over the network and direct from pc to device. With firewall off and virus scanner off. tryed on windwos 7 and xp.

When the unit is in Em mode it is running off of the flash. Make sure Nas Navi is diabled and make sure there on the same subnets.

Exit out of it in your system tray. Did you download the firmware hardwired into your router or did you download it wirelessly?

Wired not wireless.
I could try redownloading.

still no go after re download. What is EM mode? It doesnt make sense to even have this mode does it?
So lets run through this.
I connect the device straight to my PC running windows xp with a straight cat6 cable.
i set the comp ip to 192.168.11.140, 255.255.255.0
the switch on the back of the device is set to straight
i deactivate virus scanner and firewall
i plug in the power and the network to the device and power it on
when the power eld stops flashing i open the flashing program
i click reflash and put in no password
then i wait and it fails. Doing anythign wrong?

Also the DIAG LED flashes red a few seconds before it fails.
