Extending linkstation storage

I have a Buffalo Linkstation Model# HS-DH1000GL. Capacity 1 TB of payday loans online storage space and is quickly running out of space. What are my options to extend the storage? Primary use of this linkstation is backup for 4 laptops and media storage. Appreciate a quick answer.

Attach a USB HDD (upto 2TB) and it will appear as an additional share.
