Hi,
I have two Linkstation Live LS-CHL-V2 with 1 GB internal disk and two external USB disks (one with a 1.5 TB Seagate and the other with a 2 TB WD). Both USB disks were formatted with the Pozycjonowanie stron Linkstation WEB interface in XFS with Windows, Apple and Backup flags.
The four disks (two internal and two external) are properly mapped to the network. I can read and write to any of them from my Windows PC. I would like to use one of the Linkstation with its USB disk as primary storage and the other set as backup. I successfuly created a backup job to backup the folders I want from the share folder (from the internal HDD) to the share folder of the other linkstation, but I can't select the remote USB disk as target. As there is no technical reason not to be able to do so, I want to know if this is a limitation set by Buffalo or I am doing something wrong. Of course, the local USB disk can be used as backup destination.
If there is such a limitation, is there any way to circunvent it? I don't want to use an external computer to do the backup (this, of coures, will work, but it will neglect the whole linkstation backup feature).
