I have Link Station Quad (4-bay). I have 1 x 1TB and 3 x 2TB's drives. Can I set up my disk as follows:
1TB as standard
2TB x 3 as RAID0 array
Thank you

you need either 2 or 4 disks to create a RAID, as far as im aware you cannot create any raid (even raid0) on 3 disks.

RAID 0 can be set up with 2 or more disks with the aim of striping the data (fast read/write).

Please listen to what i'm saying, you cannot setup a RIAD0 on 3 disks! I've tried it and it does not work!

RAID 5 with 3 HDDs and one spare wasn't an available option until the TS3 came out, but you still couldn't use the fourth HDD as storage, just as a spare in case one of the RAID 5 HDDs failed.
