AD Users blank but Groups show

TS-8VH24TL/R6 Firmware 1.10 Joined to Server 2003 AD. Joining rolex replicas using gwatl for the domain was not working. Had to use gwatl.local. The Domain groups populate but the Domain Users do not. The FAQ says not to use the .local but it wouldn't join the domain with out it. Suggestions?
