What is DriveNavi.exe?
« on: April 03, 2012, 07:35:29 AM »

I just bought a 2tb drive. It comes preformatted with a few files on it. I deleted the Mac folder as I have a Windows PC. All the "manual" says is connect it to the computer, double click on the drive and then run DriveNavi.exe. Can someone please tell me what this software is before I install it? Do I need it? Windows can detect the drive and access it perfectly well so far and i have not installed it.

I don't just blindly install rubbishware on my PC without knowing what it does and if I need it. If this just "keeps me informed of product updates" then I don't want it. Nowhere seems to explain WHAT this software actually does or provides.

Any ideas?

You don't need it, it's for additional software like the backup utilty.
PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.

Thanks. It would be nice if Buffalo put details of the software on their website so at least give me some idea as to what they want me to install.

I can handle my own backups.

Thanks,
