How to set network security on a Buffalo LS-CH1.0TL ?
« on: April 02, 2012, 09:19:13 PM »

I installed it and copied data to it on my home network. Works fine. BUT, how do I set security on it for users?

Right now if I surf my home network from any wired or wireless device (even the sony 3d bluray player that's on the home network), all of the files on the Buffalo device can be accessed by anyone!

How do I find a management utility or something on the Buffalo to secure it properly???

No offense but maybe you should start by reading the manual! It's fully detailed in there. Check the downloads section of the buffalo website.
PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.
