I have a Buffalo external drive connected to my Desktop computer. The Buff drive came with memeo Backup software. It auto backs up my files. I have also transferred certain files to a separate folder on the Buff Drive.
My desktop Computer crashed. I took the Buff Hard drive, connected it to my Laptop, and it seems to show the drive is "Empty", except for a few odd kb... When I plug it in, it asks if I want to run/install Navigator (navigator.exe). If I run that EXE file, will it erase my stored backup data, or will it merely allow me to access my 700GB of backed up files????
Any help will be appreciated.
