I'm using a LinkStation Mini, LS-WSGL/R1, firmware version 1.04.

(just tried updating that using the Windows software, no success.  I guess my network setup might interfere - there's a Linksys router (actually the switch side thereof) between the LinkStation and the Windows Vista PC that I'm typing this on and tried running the firmware update from.)

I've been searching for a while for information about updating to a recent version of Twonky server, like version 6.  What I'm finding (not too much) makes me think that it can be done, but neither PacketVision nor Buffalo will officially support this step.  Is that correct ?

Also, it seems like it can be done anyway.  Is that so ?

Finally, assuming it can be done, where would I find the Twonky binaries ?

PacketVision seems to only be offering an i386 version, and I think I'll need one for an ARM processor ?

Thanks,

Werner
