LS-CH1.0 and Twonky Media Server
« on: January 01, 2012, 11:57:22 PM »

Hi,

I have a question. I am trying to get consistent video playback on my Samsung TV when I access videos from it the LS-CH1.0 NAS that I have. I am finding that I cannot run all the videos and those that do work sometimes stop and in all cases I cannot do a FF or REW. My LS-CH1.0 firmware is 1.56.

Now, I have seen in some of my research especially on this site that the LinkStation is using Twonky Media Server and it's version 4.4.19_e2. I went to the http://{LINKSTATIONIUP}:9050 location and I was able to pull up the Twonky.

However, when I tried to change the dropdown of the DLNA for ANY of the listed deviceds under the Client/Security and hit the Save Changes button they go back to the previous entries and nothing changed.

How can I get those changes to persist?

Thanks,

Marc
