Terastation backup never stops? Been running for 4 days

I'm trying to backup a Terastation Pro 3. The Terastation has about 3.5TB on it. The backup has been running for a little over 3 days. I don't see a progress bar and I don't see the used space on my USB drive increasing, it's only at 355gb used.  Is this a known issue?

What are you attempting to back up to? What firmware version is your TeraStation running on ?

Backing up to a 3TB usb drive. 

 

Firmware is 1.55

Just to make sure, the extenal drive is formated to XFS correct? Do you have email notifications enabled for backups to see if the unit reported any errors? It should only take about 12 hours to maybe 2 days to backup depending on the transfer speed. What is the model of the external drive?

Formatted as XFS w/GPT.

 

It's a Seagate drive

No I don't have email setup. I'll set that up and see what I get.
