Cloudstor, My Pogoplug driver never works - but I can use windows sharing

Clourstor CS-WX 1TB.

 

The pogoplug software for windows never works in my computer.

The network connection of pogoplug always appears 'cable unplugged'.

 

But I can actually access the drive by either web page or simply mapping drive by windows sharing.

 

How could I solve this?

If I use the pogoplug software and map drive, do I expect faster speed than windows sharing (current only 500KB ~ 700KB over a wirelessG router..)

I tested pogo driver but don't use it. I think it's about the same speed as using windows sharing. It's only worth the trouble if you are using it to map a cloudstor share over internet (which I don't do). But there is a serious bug where that it reports out of space error according to other posters that use t that way.

 

I have CS-WX 2TB, should be the same hardware as yours.  You did update the firmware?  I am also running a 54 G WEP wireless network, and depending on the computer/tablet I can get 300K/s (low end android tablet), 1MB/s (older laptop), 2.4MB/s (new 1 year old laptop)
