TeraStation Live reporting "Emergency mode no array info"
« on: November 26, 2011, 11:51:53 AM »

After a power outage my HS-DHTGL TeraStation Live has stopped working. Initially the error it was reporting was "System error E04 : Can't Load Kernel". A forum post suggested removing the drives one at a time, which I tried and each time I started the device it reported that a disk was missing. I've now put all of th drives back into the machine and when I start it I get a "Emergency mode no array info" message.

Another forum post suggested updating the firmware, so I downloaded the latest version (hs-dhtgl-up_214_102), disabled my firewall and AV, however the update software can't find the device. The ip address of my machine is 192.168.0.2 and the device is reporting 192.168.0.8 and I can ping the terastation from my machine.

I'm a bit lost as to what to try next....

Any help much appreciated!!!!!
