RAID is not a replacement for a backup! Here's why.
Hi all,
We have an annoying issue with our new Linkstation LS-CH1.0TL?: we get a '404 Not Found' error when connecting to the web administration address. What's worse is that, event though we can ping the NAS, when this condition occurs we cannot reach the shared folders too.The only way to get access again is to reboot the device, but some time after we get the error again.
We already updated the firmware to the latest version available (1.54).
Any help appreciated.

Are you using a fixed IP address?
Maybe you have a duplicate IP address in the network.

I got the same error because i got a new IP :smileywink:
just go to CMD
type: ipconfig/all
close
try again....
And it works

thanks for your replies. The IP address is assigned statically by the DHCP, so it never changes. Moreover, as said we can ping the NAS by IP, so it seems a webserver issue, not an IP issue.
Any other ideas?

I fixed this by clearing the cache. Hope this helps those stumbling on this thread.
