RAID-1 building on a LS-WXL
« on: August 14, 2011, 02:15:58 AM »

Hi,

I have bought a LS-WXL2.0TL/R1, and upgraded it to firmware 1.52

After doing this i changed the RADI0 to RAID1, the INFO/ERROR light staterd flashing orange.

According to manual this is because RAID has to be rebuild, and should take about 6 hours. [*]

The rebuild started saturday at 13:00, and the light is still flashing orange :smileysad:

1) How can i check if there is some error?

2) How can i check how long the rebuild is going to take? (assuming its still rebuilding)

[*] page 92 of the manual:

"While the array is being built, the file transfer speed will be slower than usual. It will take about 6 hours for a 1 TB RAID array. The Power LED will blink amber while the array is being built. Do not turn off the LinkStation until the RAID array is built."
