Very slow streaming via Webaccess
« on: August 06, 2011, 12:37:34 PM »

I have the LS-CH1.0T and have set up Webaccess on it.

(Windows XP SP3, latest firmware on Buffalo, ISP is Rogers Cable in Toronto Canada)

When trying to stream (play) a file from the Buffalo to a computer at work, it can take an hour from when I click on the avi file (on the work computer) till when it starts to play.  Yikes!

Any suggestions why it might take so long to stream?  Are there settings on the Buffalo that need fine tuning?

(I'm on a cable modem at home and DSL at work)

Thanks

The problem is the ISP's your device is fine just the slow internet is the problem

also if someone is using the internet at home or work it could cause bandwidth issues and make it slow

What speeds would you consider acceptable for streaming video from the Buffalo to a Google Nexus S phone (latest OS)

Thanks
