Itunes Server Performance / LS-QL/R5

I have an LS-QL/R5? and have set it up for back up and as an iTunes server.  The problem is performance, especially with movies.  My computers all access the network via a wireless n connection and all devices are wired with gigabit.  Is the processing power of this device too slow?  

 

I would love to use this as a media server if at all possible.

Usually in a case like this it is a limitation of the processor in the unit.  When running the itunes server are you moving data across the network at the same time or utilizing any other function along with it?  Also which firmware version are you running on the unit now.
