No iSCSI Volume - stograge space missing
« on: May 31, 2011, 03:56:39 AM »

Hi there,

I have TS-RIXL on Firmware v1.32 with 6TB storage. I have created 2 volumes 2 TB each which left me spare volume of 1.5TB. I have used this for testing etc.

Finally i run out of the space on my 2x2tb volumes so i wanted to use my spare volume. I have deleted it in "iSCSI volumes" i have done this before and what happen is i could just create new volume on free space but this time i cannot see any storage to create new volume ?

I have run RAID scan but this didn’t fix the issue, any other ideas ?

Thanks

Marcin

You have 4 x 1.5TB HDD's correct?? What raid mode do you have set?
PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.
Having network issues? Drop me an email: info@interwebnetworks.com and we will get it fixed!

Is the LVM manager enabeld or disable? It needs to be enabled to create volumes of specific sizes in the interface.

Was it already enabled or did you just now enable it? And did it work?

Can you supply a screen shot of where it is not showing you the storage in the interface of the unit?

So when you try and create the new volume the space available for the new volume says none? Did you change your RAID type to RAID 1?
