??I just bought LS-VL NAS which is a nice product with cheap price.
I don't know why this tricky question.
ethernet cable - connect shared folder and time machine is fine
wifi - connect shared folder is fine and cannot connect time machine

I just using ethernet cable for my first time of time machine. How comes it cannot change the other method to connect time machine.

Did you set up time machine using the wifi mac address or the ethernet cards mac address?

You will have to set up the back up again with the wifi's MAC address.

With firmware 1.54 + Linkstation CH-Lv2 + osx 10.6.8. i have the exact same problem as wii2: no Time Machine on wifi.

And with firmware 1.54 it is no longer possible to alter the MAC address manually!
