WebAccess not working since yesterday (2011/04/28)

Hi, I've got a LS-CHL-v1 working flawlessly since september 2009.

Untill two days ago the WebAccess service worked successfully. Since yesterday it doesnt' work (the browser says "Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to xxx.xx.xxx.xx:9000").

I tried to restart both the NAS and the router which the unit is connected to, but the issue has not been solved.

Can you tell me if there are any troubles with the WebAccess service?

Did the IP address of your unit change? If it changed the ports will no longer be forwarded properly.

Hi, I've sent you a PM as requested.

 

I'm simply getting the "connection refused" message:

 

 

Network Error (tcp_error) A communication error occurred: "Connection refused"The Web Server may be down, too busy, or experiencing other problems preventing it from responding to requests. You may wish to try again at a later time.

 

 

 

I get the same error even if I try to connect to the port 8080, that I use to remote control the BitTorrent client (http://xxx.xx.xx.xxx:8080/).

 

Untill last week, I could connect to port 9000 and 8080 either.

 

And yes, I can get it locally, but if I try to connect via buffalonas.com locally the service resolve it with my unit intranet IP local address.

It seems like the port forwarding in your router has changed or is not correct. Buffalonas.com cannot even find your public IP address. You will want to check your router settings again. The fact that you cannot access either service remotely but can locally would point to a forwarding issue.
