NAS server reset everyday
« on: April 21, 2011, 10:01:39 AM »

Hello,

I have a 4TB NAS (TS-RHTGL/R5 / Firmware1.35). Each morning the NAS loses its connectivity to the network. So, what we do is unplug power cable and turn it back on. Thats seems to work. However, I want a permanent solution to this problem.

We tried changing the ethernet cable to a different port on our Cisco router but we still have the same problem. We also looked through our Cisco user interface to see if there are any power management options to configure but there are none.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

I would flash the firmware using FAQ 2 of 5 that is pinned at the top of the storage posts and then restore the interface by going to maintenance, initialization and choosing restore.
