LS-WH2.0TGL/R1 won't turn on after reset...

Hi,

I have been reading through this forum trying to find a solution to my current issue with no luck which is as follows:

I forgot my admin password so I completed the Func+Power on then repress func to reset the Drive. Now it will not power on at all. I get the link LED lit at all times, but not power (in both ON and AUTO modes).

 

I do not care about the data on the drives as they have been vaulted.

 

Is there any way of getting this Linkstation operational again???

Try the reset process again. If that doesnt help follow FAQ 3 of 5 to get the unit functional again.

Thanks Jotin, I will try it when I get home.

 

I read FAQ3 and have tried to get it into EM mode multiple times - the blue LED doesn't flash at all and neight does the green power LED. The unit does power up (fan running/disks spinning/activity LED on). Will it still go into EM mode for TFTP without the blue light?

Oh and one other thing - I notice on the link for the firmwares there isnt one for my model... Do I just use the WTGL version?

Yeah, I would use the WTGL version.
