TFTP Boot
« on: March 27, 2011, 08:08:54 AM »

Hallo,

Kannmir hier jemand helfen?

Die genaue Bezeichnung ist:  LS-QV4.0TL/R5

Vielen Dank im voraus.

Jens

hello,

thanks for your replay, my english is very poor....

I search for the TFTP boot image for my linkstation. I have found this ftp://24.153.165.234/mnt/array1/share/nas-recovery/TFTP%20Boot%20Recovery%20LS-QTL%201.04.exe the linkstation is booting from this. The linkstation wars not found from NAS navigator and the power LED is flashing after boot.

Is this the right TFTP boot image?

LinkStation Pro™ Quad - LS-QVL/R5

thanks and sorry for my poor english

Your unit does not have a TFTP boot image. I do not think that one will be made for any of the newer units.

Hello,

thanks for the answer.

Is there another way to rescue the device?

Hello,

I have flashed a wrong Firmware. The Disks are all empty, no firmware more.

The Device say Error E6. The NAS Navigator find no device.

I can not flash a new firmware.

You will have to wait until we release a TFTP boot option for this unit. It is being worked on.

Still not yet. It might take some time to make them.

Hi,

my LS is working again.

I have expand initrd.buffalo and uImage-lsp.5.x.buffalo from original firmware, renamed uImage-lsp.5.x.buffalo to uImage.buffalo and copy to tftp root.

The LS boot correct and i can flash new firmware.

Thanks Jens
