Terastation drive upgrades & importing data
« on: December 25, 2008, 06:18:18 PM »

I have a Terastation that had 4x 160gb drives.  One drive went bad in a pair that I had setup as raid1.  I pulled both drives in the raid1 & upgraded them to 320gb drives.  Now i've got a spare 160gb drive that I need to pull the data off of and import back onto the new 320gb drive.  I tried putting the drive in a USB enclosure and it was recognized but the data is very important and I don't want to do anything to ruin the data.

I'd love to get any sort of tips on how best to import the data from this 160gb (xfs formatted drive).  If this helps, I'm running both on Windows & OS X.

Thanks!

Terastation model: HD-H0 6TGL/R5

Firmware: 2.16
