LS-WX2.0TL backups not starting in sleep mode firm 1.40

I have just recently updated my LS-WX2.0TL to firmware 1.40.  Since the update, my daily backups do not commence when the NAS is in sleep mode.   If the NAS is active at the time the backup is scheduled it will complete.  (Power option is set to "auto")

 

On previous firmware backups would complete daily without issue.

 

Any ideas????????

Advise from support: known issue in 1.40 and it has been taken off the download page - go back to previous firmware (1.37)
