Software connection issues and Firmware

i dont know what im doing incorrectly but neither on mac nor windows can i get the software or firmware update to find my link station.

 

Navigator finds it occasionally, and i can access it via its ip and windows file share and mac server centre. Im following the manual to the letter but keep getting this (see pic)

the model is an Ls-ch1.0

You need to download the latest version of NAS navigator and what is your model number? I don't think there was a Mac firmware updater for that unit. You may have downloaded the wrong one.

its an LS-CH1.0tl

You will have to update the firmware from a pc. You cannot udpate it from a mac.
