With An FTP Client The Log In Hangs At "Connection established, waiting for welcome message..."

Just got a LinkStations Pro Duo Model LS-WVL 4TB, wtih Firmware 1.37.  When I try to login to the FTP Server wtih FileZilla it hangs with "Connection established, wating for welcome message..."

 

Any ideas how to fix this will be greatly appreciated.

It could be a port forwarding issue. Have you forwarded ports 21 and 20 to the ip address of the linkstation in your router or firewall? You may also want to check the time and date settings on the Linkstation to make sure that they are correct.
