TeraStation TS-1.6TGL/R5 drive upgrade????

I've searched and haven't seen this model mentioned....  after 5 years of 24/7 i've had a drive failure, and i was wondering if i can upgrade the drives to a larger size.   I know it isn't supported or recommended, but we all can use a little more storage capacity.  Any answers will be appreciated.

Gien the delicate nature of this products, I wouldn't do it.

 

question for you:  how did you get the AD integration to work?  Can your users authenticate using their AD accounts, given you have added the user\groups?  I just bought a 6T and only the admin account works

Yes you can, I wouldn't recommend going larger than double the capacity.
