No it's not the firmware v1.40 on the NAS causing utorrent download problem. I can confirm this because my linkstation ls-wxl is on v1.40 and was on v1.37, both versions downloading fine.

I traced back your original posting, you seem to be only forwarding port9090. Forwarding port9090 only allows you to remotely access the uTorrent WebUI. You also need to forward the port number configured in uTorrentWebUI->Preferences->Connection. Also, you need to disable/uncheck "Randomize port" under that screen.

Hi again

Just a little info to the all you bittorrent people :

The issue for some NAS stations ( including Buffalo linkstation ) is that they can't run Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) the issue can be solved on some trackers by contacting admin on the current tracker, he may be able to turn off SSL in your profile ..
So Buffalo please submit the SSL option to the torrent client ...!:smileysad:

Hey guys,

Just recently purchased myself a

LX-WX1.0TL/R1

it has a static IP of 192.168.1.20

its Firmware is 1.37

i have a Buffalo Router Model: WZR-HP-G300NH

I have port forwarding setup for the Nas on the router

ports forwarded are

9090 TCP

9090 UDP

and the Random port used by the Utorrent Client

48724 TCP

48724 UDP

However im still having this same issue as the OP

Where the Client just sits at 0

no download no upload, no seeding,

and i have tried this with multpile Torrents.

I have Scoured these forums trying many of the suggestions/recommendations.

I am able to Download the Torrents on the PC just fine using mulittple different clients including the Utorrent PC client.

I am at a loss and very frustrated.

i really want to be able to Download torrents using the NAS client.

Please help.

Please.
