HD-CX1.0TU2 DOESN'T WORK
« on: December 28, 2010, 09:34:17 AM »

Hi,

I have an external hard drive, model no. HD-CX1.0TU2,

O/S: Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit,

Firmware version: not sure but I haven't upgraded any at all from the first installation.

I created password for this hard drive and it's still worked well so far. However, when I plugged it into my Vaio laptop, it seemed not working. No green light at all, there was just red led light staying there, no flashing. No pop-up window asking me to type password as well. In My Computer, I just saw "CD Drive (:L) Utility _HD -CXU2" for system files, no else disk displayed, where I stored all my data.

I tried on other computers, the same result. Very confused & worried now. I just haven't used it for few days, not a long time.

Please kindly help me to work it out!

Thanks a lot!

What operating system is the laptop running?  Also when you tried plugging it back into your old computers did you try running the cd.  It should have an option to "unlock" or something in there
