what options do you get? What browser are you using and what firmware is installed?

PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.

Using Win7 (tried on XP too);

IE version 8

F/W 1.06

When I click on "Web Access",  It opens up the ability to set up Web Access folders, with no expansion folder on the left side under "Web Access";  I have the Shared Folder Name as "share",  Volume RAID Array 1; and Web Access Settings to Allow all Groups/Users.

thanks

Simply update the firmware or re-flash the current version on to the unit.

I had tried this and also called support, this does not work, neither does re-initializing through web services.   I am purchasing another product.

I'm sorry to hear that. That is a really strange thing to happen.

I'm having a similar problem, I'm trying to find my Linkstation WSGL/R1 but can't find it from my laptop.

I wonder if it's due to the way I have my network set up.  I don't have a fixed line connection here so I've set up as follows:

- Laptop connected to Internet via 3G modem - works fine

- Netgear router powered up and creating a wireless network (but no fixed phone line connection as I said)

- Laptop connected by WiFi to the Netgear

- LinkStation attached by fixed cable to the Netgear router

Could someone please comment on whether it's possible to make it work this way and if so what I might need to do/change?

Thank you

Dan

Are you trying to find it via web access or just trying to get to the data through windows? And if you are through web access did you forward port 9000 to the IP address of your linkstation in your router?

Hi - I'm just trying to get to it through Windows - I can find the wireless network created by the router, but I can't find the attached network storage

Can you see the unit via the Nas Navigator?

Don't know - I can't install Navigator - it tells me it's not compatible with my Windows (version 7)

Download it from here.

I am running Win7 64 bit Ultimate and I know that this software works with all versions of Windows 7, XP and Vista.
