Hello. I have a problem, I can not access the LinkStation Live from the iPhone and iPad through the WebAccess application / WebAccess HD. The error is: "WebAccess version 2.0 or not supported early."

But I have installed version 2.2.

Through browser everything works but not App.

What is the problem?

Whats the model number and firmware vesion of the linkstation?

Firmware 1.24

NasNavgator 2.26

I use on mac os x 10.5

You need to update the firmware, you are still using the older version of web access which is not compatible with the app. This will have to be done from a Windows OS, not a MAC.

Connect your PC/laptop to your router, make sure the Linkstation is connected into the same router, deactivate all anti virus and firewall software on the PC/laptop.

Download the latest firmware from the Buffalo site (*if your located in Italy then use the following link:http://www.buffalo-technology.com/support/getfile/?LS-%28W%29X_series-fw134.zip)

Unzip the firmware to your desktop, run the LSUpdater.exe file => Update.

The process should take 10 - 15 minutes.

NB: Although the above process should not erase any data a backup is recommended before proceeding.

hi, I have HS-DHGL500 with firmware 2.11 according to nas navigator. I get the same message for iPhone and iPad. There is a 2.11b firmware on the website. Is this what I need or is my nas not supported. Thanks

web access 3.0 is not available on your Linkstation or the app will not work with it.

Hi.

Can I ask what Iphone App you are using for this?

The new Webaccess i is not supposed to work with LS-models at all.

Webacess i is the only app I can find in the AppStore.

web access 3.0 is not available on your Linkstation?, your unit is not compatible with the app.
