Emergency Mode No Array Info
« on: January 19, 2011, 09:52:34 AM »

We have 2 Tera Station TS-WX4.0TL/R1 and when I attempted to set Port Trunking to Round Robin and statically set and IP address they froze. I rebooted them and no they boot into Emergency Mode with No array info being the error. I have tried to push the firmware update but it fails and says that the NAS has booted into Emergency Mode, again with the same error.

Any advice?

I am pushing the update from a Windows 7 x64 machine directly to the NAS.

What does it say when it errors out?  Make sure you have the firewalls disabled, NASNAVI is completely closed out and that the IP subnets match.

It did not receive a response from the NAS unit. Essentially, the update would not take. It is being replaced.
