tanks
PS:My Workgroup is the same for the NAS , my XP and my WIN7 (MSHOME)
file and printer sharing is either not enabled or not working on your Windows 7 PC.
OR
An Anti virus or firewall appliaction is blocking the communication.
I have the same problem under windows 7 I can map folders from my NAS, but neither drive show up under NETWORK. The mapped folders do show up under COMPUTER.
This was not the case under Vista both drives showed up under Network. The NAS are (2) LinkStation Gigabits (LS-GL)
The best way to see the unit is through a mapped drive. Also try setting a static ip address on the unit and changing he host name. Network places see the unit via their host names. Also you want to make sure your network type is a home network type.
