2 months after, LS-WXL hard drive fails. What should I do?
« on: July 22, 2010, 04:12:05 PM »

The LS-WXL keeps sending hard drive error emails and I can't access the data in the hard drive. What should I do? Should I request a RMA? Can I just return the hard drives?

PS: I am not saying Buffalo is bad, but I am saying Samsung's hard drives are bad!

Contact your regional tech support to attempt setup of an RMA (Return Materials Authorization) and if you need data recovery inform them that you need time to accomplish that measure.  After data recovery (e.g. contact a 3rd party data recovery facility) follow through with the RMA steps given by your regional tech support.
